Obi-Wan Kenobi Costume Review from Nathan  12/01/2016

Thank you Nathan for this full review of our Obi Wan Kenobi Replica Tunic and Jedi Robe:

The robes I received exceeded expectations. Their look, feel an quality are all superb. It consisted of six main parts, that were all perfect.

The main hooded robe is a sturdy brown cotton, and is very high quality. The hood and sleeves are massive, and definitely make me feel like a Jedi Knight. I am six foot even, and it fits me very well length wise.

The robe billows around my legs well above my feet, but I could imagine that their recommendation of being above 5.7 would be about right. Under the robe is the crepe main tunic, and it is also very high quality. The fabric is thick, but surprisingly light and breathable. It's crumpled slightly worn look makes them look that much more realistic.

Over it rest two shoulder sashes made of the same material. They connect to two buttons on the shoulder via elastic loops, and they remain in place very well. There is a waist wrap (also made with the same fabric) that keeps the sashes in place, and keep the tunic closed. This belt attaches in the back with two large Velcro pads.

Under all this is a light tunic, made with the same fabric as the cloak. It is just as fantastic as the rest.

Bellow all this, are the pants. They have an elastic waist, and are as light and comfortable as everything else. On the large I ordered, the pants are a little short, stopping just below my mid calf. They're more like Capri pants than anything. This might be a problem if your boots were shorter, but the boots I wear are more than long enough to cover it up, and I imagine that most Jedi boots would be ample covering.

I wear my own belt and boots, but they are only made what they are by this amazing costume. If I had to summarize this costume in three words they would be light, beautiful, and quality.

I am very happy with the whole ensemble, and really recommend them. I've always wanted to dress like a Jedi ever since I was really young, and finally that dream has come true before I got too old. Thank you Jedi Robes America for your fast shipping and amazing quality items!
